The Christmas Market in the Saxon city of Sibiu is one of the most beautiful and famous in the country, following old Saxon traditions and resembling the “sister” markets in Germany.

The Sibiu Christmas Fair is a cultural project initiated by the Austrian Embassy in Romania in partnership with the Sibiu municipality. Opened for the first time in 2007, the year when Sibiu was elected to serve as European Cultural Capital, the Christmas Fair has become a tradition and is known today throughout the country and the continent.

And Santa’s Workshop is waiting for kids to take part in thematic workshops!
